Message to Our Patients Regarding COVID-19

The safety of our patients, their families, and our team is the highest priority at our practice. As an essential worker, we will begin to see patients after a two week pause to keep patients out of urgent care centers and emergency rooms.

At our practice, we have always operated under the concept of using “universal precautions “ which are based on sound science and clinical guidelines to prevent contracting and spreading any infectious disease such as influenza and now COVD-19. We will be enhancing our established practices by adding the following:

*Requiring proper hand hygiene guidelines when entering the office (hand washing with soap or hand sanitizing).
*Social distancing while in the office. FAMILY MEMBERS WILL BE ASKED TO WAIT IN THEIR CAR OR OUTSIDE ON A CHAIR WE HAVE PROVIDED.
*Please come to the office with your own protective face cover or a mask will be provided for you.
*We will only have a few patients in the office at one time so you may be asked to wait in your car or in a chair placed in a shady area we have provided.
*Increasing the practice of disinfecting all hard surfaces and high volume points of contact after every patient.
*All magazines have been removed from our reception and exam rooms.

We kindly ask that you:
* Reschedule your appointment if you or anyone in your immediate family has a fever, cough, or respiratory or flu-like symptom, or has traveled from a location of high COVID19 cases in the last 14 days.

We will continue to make the safety of our patients, families and team members the highest priority. We are committed to the highest quality of patient care and safety and appreciate your understanding during this unprecedented time.

Sincerely,

Dr. Johnson and the entire staff at Mark Johnson MD PA.
